In this ethereal moment, I feel you

The dew falls, the air feels cold,

In this ethereal moment, I feel you,

Then later, twilight falls, painting the sky,

In that brush of nature, I trace you.

The neighborhood is old, the restaurants familiar,

Among these dwellings, I remember you,

A wonderful play; the characters are ancient,

Yet in Sappho's Aphrodite, I see you.

The stars above shimmer, their light eternal,

In this brilliant tapestry, I imagine you,

The mountains are serene, the lake placid,

Ghosts of eternity! I am haunted by you.

The wind whispers through the trees,

In every rustle, I seem to hear you,

The flowers bloom with timeless grace,

In their irresistible scent, I breathe you.

The rain falls gently, such a soothing balm!

With each drop, I growingly miss you,

The days are passing, the nights restless,

I don't have dreams, but when I do, they are of you...
